Summary: It's two of them left in a world without a Dark Kingdom, with the remains of their former selves drifting away.

It was fitting to be assigned this fandom as I just read the books this year and became obsessed (and I've done my best to rec them to people). It was lovely to finish a fic for once though I'm not sure if I did the canon material justice.

A shout-out to QueerIntentions/taken_aback_by_Tuesdays for writing me Hayden's Holiday which is a marvelous little fic.

I'm returning to Yuletide after a couple of years where I took a break, before that I had participated for many years. This has always been fun though the writing can be stressful. But I do hope your Yuletide will be very fulfilling, dear mysterious Yuletide author. Let's get into it, shall we?


Fandom: Cynster Family Saga - Stephanie Laurens

Sebastian Cynster, Michael Cynster, Louisa Cynster

Prompt: I kind of want some good explanation for Louisa being known as Lady Wild and how much exactly she has been privy to her brothers' business before the events of the Devil's Brood trilogy. She's obviously been a grande dame in the making since she was a teething baby on her father's lap. So I guess there are many reasons for the moniker. Alternatively, I’d like something about the siblings after they are all married and settled, could be a simple family gathering or assisting Drake with one of his missions.

I can't deny that Sebastian, Michael and Louisa are my favorites of the next generation of Cynsters and I like their sibling dynamics a lot because they're all intelligent enough to know what each of them is capable of but still the typical sibling tension lingers. I'm very intrigued with Sebastian's and Michael's view of their little sister.


Fandom: Game Changers Series - Rachel Reid

Ilya Rosanov, Shane Hollander

Prompt: MOAR ILYA, MOAR SHANE!! Okay, sorry. I would love to have glimpse of them playing together with the Centaurs, kicking ass on the first line and generally being awesome 'cause they deserve it. I do love me some mild hockey whump so feel free add some of that into the story. Alternatively, any sort of slice of life would please me. More of them at the cabin, hanging out with the other Centaurs or Hayden or any of the other Game Changers characters. I just want more Ilya and Shane in my life.

A year ago I discovered the Game Changers series and found a new OTP. I mean, I may have muttered "Stupid Canadian Wolfbird" under my breath the other day when I saw a loon in the distance. So when I say I want more Ilya and Shane, I mean it.


Fandom: CU Hockey Series - Eden Finley & Saxon James

Asher Dalton, Westly Dalton

Prompt: Bring on the Dalton family shenanigans. I like the dynamic of them two as brothers, especially in relation with their younger siblings. Like how did they deal with Emmett and Bennett being queer? How well does Asher manage to keep in touch with his family when he's playing professional hockey? Alternatively, it could be something about Asher and Westly while Westly was still playing in NHL and Asher was going for the draft.

Out of all the characters in the Sadenverse (what I've read of it so far), Asher "Eat shit and die" Dalton is my favorite and I'm very fond of Westly as well. So more of them is what I need. I've also read Emmett's and Bennett's books from the FU series so including the entire Dalton gang is fine by me and any or all (though that would a tall order) of the Sadenverse characters. Though I guess the other CU characters and the Queer Collective would make me the happiest.

Dolg (Legend of the Realm of Light), Marco av Isfolket (Legend of the Realm of Light)

Prompt: What if Dolg and Marco were in a relationship (like Henrich Reuss probably fantasized about)? I do acknowledge that for the most part they are portrayed as being asexual. That‘s actually something that would be interesting to see explored within the context of a romantic relationship. Alternatively, I just like something from their point of view. It can be either one or both and it can just be about something mundane or any event in the books that would be interesting to get their take on.

This isn't the first time I request this but this idea of Dolg and Marco being in a relationship refuses to leave my mind. It was repeated again and again in the books that Dolg and Marco weren‘t made for earthly love or whatever it was called. And then Marco drinks the clear water and BOOM, suddenly that's changed. Yeah, that didn't impress me much. So my prompt is a bit of a fix-it. When you‘ve got an author like Margit Sandemo who retcons her retcons, you‘re allowed to ask for a fix-it. Plus I just think Marco and Dolg deserved a better ending to their narrative than they got. And also I want to see asexuality explored with people who are in a relationship and that being seen as a spectrum rather than a fixed thing. Dolg does have an idea about his own sensuality (see: the last book of Heksemesteren) even though he never desires anyone. While it can be argued that Marco and Dolg are both aromantic, I'm interested to see them in a romantic relationship.

As for the alternative prompt, I imagine both Dolg and Marco, who have both been to different worlds/dimensions, must have some deeper thoughts and opinions on Lysets rike than we get from them in the books, 'cause Lysets rike definitely has its flaws. If you need a starting point that is. But I’ll be very happy to get a story featuring those two.


In general, I like to think I’m easy to please. I love light-heartedness, romance, a good dialogue (oh, I love me some good banter), stories with communication, emotions and stuff that feels genuine. I love it when stories are true to the canon, even if they are AUs. Also I love stories about families, whether they are blood-related or found. I think a keen observer might realize that the majority of the fandoms I'm requesting, has many recurring characters in the canon. I'm okay with some canon divergence, a good "what if" scenario is sometimes what the doctor ordered. I tend to like non-AU settings more than AU but a good AU that has great call-backs to the canon, is always fun. I don't have a great preference for AU settings as such though.

I do read dark fic from time to time, but I want to be in total control when I read it. I’m not against little bits of angst but please go easy on death and destruction. Also, I want to read unhappy endings on my own terms, not in a gift fic.

When it comes to any type of bigotry, it has to fit the setting if you know what I mean. The time period the story takes place in, the setting and so on. And it must be relevant to the story. I’m probably stating the obvious but better safe than sorry.

Kink-wise, I love me some steamy fanfiction but like with the dark stuff, I like to control when I read stories with the heavier kinks. Stuff like light BDSM is fine but nothing heavier than that. And please, please stay far away from blood play.

Prompt: What I'd love would be Devil and Honoria giving their children "The Talk" in some way or the other. I'm sorry for the Michael erasure in the character request but rest assured, I do love him as well and would love to have him included. Alternatively, I’d like something about Devil’s and Honoria’s thoughts and feelings when they might have to worry or fear about their children (for instance, in By Winter’s Light when Sebastian and Michael are with their cousins, stuck in a storm). Or the whole on-goings in the Devil's Brood trilogy.

There's just something that tells me that Devil and Honoria would feel compelled to talk to their children about certain aspects of life and what it entails to be a Cynster. Like Devil talking to his sons about the privileges being given to them as aristocratic males and while they can have their fun and dalliances, they need to conduct themselves in a certain manner. Or Louisa demanding some answers from either of her parents about things like sex, marriage or the general position of women in their society. I would love to read something like that.

As for the alternative prompt, I would see both Devil and Honoria worrying about their children but also knowing how capable they are

Fandom: The Good Doctor (TV 2017)

Shaun Murphy (The Good Doctor), Asher Wolke, Alex Park, Claire Browne

Prompt: This is a very iddy prompt. I want Alex and Asher to get it on and I definitely wouldn’t mind Shaun taking a part. And I would like Claire to get the one to get this to happen. Alternatively I would like a fic where these four have some problem to solve, whether it is a medical case or something very mundane.

I’ve been binging The Good Doctor. And I kind of fell in love with both Alex and Asher. While I don’t particularly ship them as such, I just think they could have some hot sex. Something about Alex’ masculinity and Asher’s very concervative background seems like an exciting combination in bed. And if you like, throwing Shaun in the mix would make it even more interesting. Whether you go into detail how Shaun’s neurodivergence plays into that, especially the intimacy aspect, is really up to you as a writer. I think it would be interesting to explore but you should write what you feel comfortable with. As for Claire, I think she’d have fun bringing something like this about. As for the actual canon relationships, like Shaun/Lea, feel free to gloss over that. All I ask for, please refrain from any character bashing. As for the other prompt, I like when the characters communicate and quippy dialogue about some case or a problem would be awesome.

Hi, I hope those of you celebrating the holidays are having a wonderful time. I also hope those who are not celebrating are having a lovely time as well.

Sometimes you get what you wanted exactly for Christmas and sometimes you get exactly what you wanted for Yuletide. That was the case for me this Yuletide.

I love it so much. I saw the music video and decided right there and then that I wanted to nominate it as a Yuletide fandom. 'Cause you know, I wanted to indulge more in the fantasy of the video. (Some might say it's metaphorical blah blah - I'm not interested in that). And this is a very easy rec as there's a link to the video in the fic. Go and enjoy.

Rather nerve-wracking to write a fic for a British comedy show. But I think I did a decent job with it.

And I need to send a shout-out to Carmilla for writing worth doing slowly. Absolutely what I wished for.

And now I'm going to continue watching Spinning Out on Netflix. I thought it would be a lot fluffier (and less cussing and sex) but I'm loving the melodrama.

Prompt: Okay, to be honest, I'd love to read about Ramona and Destiny having some dirty and awesome sex. That chemistry they had in the movie, was intoxicating. Alternatively, I'd love some reflections on their friendship, particularly from Ramona's pov. I loved that glimpse you got from Ramona near the end of the movie where she's speaking with Elizabeth.

Pretty much as it says on the tin. Watching the movie, I felt the chemistry radiate from the screen. I like the fact that Ramona and Destiny didn't have the healthiest of relationships and that somehow felt like a part of their chemistry. I'd be interested in seeing the complexity of their relationship reflected in how they have sex together. As for the alternative prompt, I think it would really be interesting to explorate on what Ramona might been thinking and feeling.

So there was a book called Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda and that book got both a movie (Love, Simon) and a book sequel, Leah on the Off-Beat. The fic takes place a few months after Leah on the Off-Beat ends and it's just the fluffiest and loveliest thing ever. It really delivers on the general warmness I feel that both Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda and Leah on the Off-Beat have.

I had fun writing this. I always love delving into the timelines of the figure skating world to make a plot work. And I can't pass an opportunity to write about some of my favorites.

Summary: Móri falls asleep in 1746 and wakes up in 1995. Even with the help of good friends it's a lot to get used to, especially when all he wants to do is find his son and go home.

I fell in love with Móri when I was fourteen. And because Móri is the sort of character he is, while I think I've hardly loved a fictional character as I've loved him (sorry Ron Weasley and Kurt Hummel but it's true), it has always been the quiet sort of love. And my Yuletide gift fic captures Móri so perfectly I could cry. It's based on an alternative prompt but I couldn't be happier about my mystery writer having been inspired by it because they wrote me a perfect gift. Even with lovely nods to the first prompt for that fandom.

This is why I do Yuletide, because it brings me wonderful gems like this fic.
