I can tell you all what I wrote this time around.

Alive and Awake with Aches and Bliss (3705 words) for SaraJaye

Summary: For all her great imagination, Cath had never really thought about herself in a real relationship.

It was fun to write this story. Fangirl is such a great YA novel. A little bit hard too because Cath has a bit of anxiety and writing anxiety i hard. But I hope it came across well.

I have mentioned that I received an absolute gem as my Yuletide gift. And no wonder, turns out the author has won a Hugo Award for a short story. So a big shout-out to NaomiK for writing Signed, Sealed, Delivered... for me. I'm so going to check out her original work.

Baby's first five times fic! I've never written a five times fic and never really had an idea for one but when I read the assignment, a five times fic was the first thing that popped into my mind. I had loads of fun writing this.

Summary: Bastian Schweinsteiger’s rules of succeeding at your first World Cup. Number One: Play the best goddamn football you possibly can. Number Two: Try not to focus on how much you want to kiss Lukas.

Yeah, those in the know might realize that lokrur and thesunifollow had a little bit to with the fact that I ended up writing football RPF for Yuletide. They were super nice and helped me with the story and everything. I had loads of fun writing this fic though I developed a disliking for Jürgen Klinsman while writing it.

And a big shout-out to Tish for writing my amazing giftfic, 50 Shades of Gus (Drop the Dead Donkey, mature).

I think the first order of business to is wish you all a Happy New Year.

The start of the year has been pretty uneventful so far except I had half the day off at work today and that was pretty damn nice.

And now I can finally start to reveal some of the things I've been writing. Yes, apparently I still retain the ability to write even though I was starting to despair that I might have lost it.

So for yuletide this year I wrote the following:

Relationship: Stuart Alan Jones/Vince Tyler
Summary: "Where to next?" Stuart asks, looking over at Vince in the passenger seat

I got a rather open prompt so I decided to mull things over a bit and see what wanted to burst forth. I had few ideas and they had all one thing in common, Vince being insecure about their relationship. So what I ended up writing, was really a conversation between Stuart and Vince about exactly that. The basic idea concentrated.

I'm pretty happy with it and I'm surprised how easily it came to me when I started writing it. Normally it takes a while for me to get into writing my Yuletide fics.

And a big thank you to andbless_mybaby for writing me that gorgeous American Horror Story fic, the after hours.

Happy New Year, peeps!

I've been either sleeping or groggy for those roughly 24 hours I've experienced of 2010. Might have something to do with the lack of sleep the night before and it's not a taste of things to come.

Am going to point out that the yuletide reveals are up.

I wrote a bizarre little fic called Green Grapes. It's a Project Runway RPF fic and features Tim Gunn being bewildered by a suite at the Ritz in Paris. Yeah, I don't know either. I was there just for the ride.
