Yuletide Letter 2020

It's Yuletide time again and boy, I sure do need me some Yuletide in my life right now. This is my lucky 13th time participating in Yuletide. It has never been dull and I'm always so excited to see the work(s) I receive every year.
Fandom: Sagnet om Lysets rike | The Legend of the Realm of Light - Margit Sandemo
Dolg (Legend of the Realm of Light), Marco av Isfolket (Legend of the Realm of Light)
Prompt: What if Dolg and Marco were in a relationship (like Henrich Reuss probably fantasized about)? I do acknowledge that for the most part they are portrayed as being asexual. That‘s actually something that would be interesting to see explored within the context of a romantic relationship. Alternatively, I just like something from their point of view. It can be either one or both and it can just be about something mundane or any event in the books that would be interesting to get their take on.
DNW: blood play, hard kinks, non-con, hard kinks, heavy angst.
This isn't the first time I request this but this idea of Dolg and Marco being in a relationship refuses to leave my mind. It was repeated again and again in the books that Dolg and Marco weren‘t made for earthly love or whatever it was called. And then Marco drinks the clear water and BOOM, suddenly that's changed. Yeah, that didn't impress me much. So my prompt is a bit of a fix-it. When you‘ve got an author like Margit Sandemo who retcons her retcons, you‘re allowed to ask for a fix-it. Plus I just think Marco and Dolg deserved a better ending to their narrative than they got. And also I want to see asexuality explored with people who are in a relationship. Dolg does have an idea about his own sensuality (see: the last book of Heksemesteren) even though he never desires anyone. While Marco and Dolg can be read as aromantic as well, I‘m not as keen on that aspect to be explored.
As for the alternative prompt, I imagine both Dolg and Marco, who have both been to different worlds/dimensions, they must have some deeper thoughts and opinions on Lysets rike than we get from them in the books. If you need a starting point that is. But I’ll be very happy to get a story feature those two.

Sylvester "Devil" Cynster, Honoria Cynster, Sebastian Cynster, Louisa Cynster
Prompt: What I'd love would be Devil and Honoria giving their children "The Talk" in some way or the other. I'm sorry for the Michael erasue in the character request but rest assured, I do love him as well and would love to have him included. Alternatively, I’d like something about Devil’s and Honoria’s thoughts and feelings when they might have to worry or fear about their children (for instance, in By Winter’s Light when Sebastian and Michael are with their cousins, stuck in a storm). Or the whole on-goings in the Devil's Brood trilogy.

There's just something that tells me that Devil and Honoria would feel compelled to talk to their children about certain aspects of life and what it entails to be a Cynster. Like Devil talking to his sons about the privileges being given to them as aristrocratic males and while they can have their fun and dalliances, they need to conduct themselves in a certain manner. Or Louisa demanding some answers from either of her parents about things like sex, marriage or the general position of women in their society. I would love to read something like that.
As for the alternative prompt, I would see both Devil and Honoria worrying about their children but also knowing how capable they are

Dotty (Tucked - Katy Perry), Dotty's Broccoli Husband (Tucked - Katy Perry), Dotty's Candy Lover (Tucked - Katy Perry)
Prompt: This one is pretty straight forward. Dotty's fantasy of her Broccoli Husband and Candy Lover getting it on in front of her, comes true. Maybe she joins in, maybe she doesn't but she enjoys every minute of it. Alternatively, Dotty tells her husband about the fantasy and while they don't act on it, it helps to spice up their love life.

Yeah, after watching the video, I just wanted things fleshed out a bit more. This is such a cheeky little music video so I tried to think of cheeky and fun prompts even though they're sorta no-frills simple ones.
In general, I like to think I’m easy to please. I love light-heartedness, romance, a good dialogue, stories with communication, emotions and stuff that feels genuine. I love it when stories are true to the canon, even if they are AUs.
I do read dark fic from time to time, but I want to be in total control when I read it. I’m not against little bits of angst but please go easy on death and destruction. Also, I want to read unhappy endings on my own terms, not in a gift fic.
When it comes to any type of bigotry, it has to fit the setting if you know what I mean. The time period the story takes place in, the setting and so on. And it must be relevant to the story. I’m probably stating the obvious but better safe than sorry.
Kink-wise, I love me some steamy fanfiction but like with the dark stuff, I like to control when I read stories with the heavier kinks. Stuff like light BDSM is fine but nothing heavier than that. And please, please stay far away from blood play.
