you are still writing an essay, sweetie? Right?

You are Beast!
You are brilliant and extremely clever. You can
handle almost any problem swiftly and
efficiently. You are devoted to philosophy and
are always up for a good discussion.
Sometimes, though, your anger gets the best of
you and you upset those whom you care about.
Which X-Men character are you most like?

I'm extremely happy about this results. Beast is one of my favourites and someone I relate to. It would have been cool if Emma Frost was one of the results (Ok, I love New X-Men ... blame Grant Morrison).
Buffy:
Saw The Body today. Best Buffy show I've seen. Good writing, great acting, excellent directing. I felt the episode dealt very well with the different reactions to death. I've seldom seen it done this well (except of course on Six Feet Under).
American Idol:
It was the disco show tonight. Unforunately I couldn't watch all of it, just until Kimberley Locke finished her number (which happened to be my favourite disco song). If I'd been the producers though, I'd never done a disco theme unless I had a live band (with bass, drums, strings, synthesizers etc.) because disco music played of a tape and then broadcasted, will sound awfully flat. Perhaps we can also blame the arrangements.
Too bad I couldn't watch the entire show because it was probably the only show where I can sing to every song. Me, a disco fan? *hides her Earth, Wind and Fire CDs*
One thing that made me think when watching both Buffy and Friends (The One with the Lottery ... god, I hate the lag here) tonight. I wish they could somehow make the writers of TV shows always write as good episodes like The Body and the entire 9th season of Friends (unbelievable ... there one believed that Friends had jumped the shark long ago and then this season comes). Perhaps if they'd cloned the writers of Sex Feet Under and QAF UK, we would never see a badly written TV show :D
(And I just told
perceval that I wasn't a telly person yesterday. I'm obviously in denial)
Random love goes out to the Semagic client which saves what you're writing even though you save yourself (comes in handy when one's computer crashes suddenly).
Am going to attempt to update ERISED. I warn you ... might come on the IM later to ARGH!! So people ... HIDE!!!
EDIT: Heh. Those flashing letters on my Filch icon are in sync with my disco music ... most amusing. And I obviously eat too much chocolate cake earlier.
