I'm actually a bit annoyed right now and it has everything to do with the exam I just took. I really hate it when teachers don't the questions clear enough, come in the middle of the exam and correct themselves. Especially when I have finished writing the answer. Ugh.

But happy thoughts aren't far away. More on RotK.

I am very happy to see that there are Théoden fans out there :D (notice my icon).

There was one thing I noticed when I was moving the books on my desk and found my copy of RotK. The cover on it is by John Howe. Showing guards at Minas Tirith. The exactly same shot was in the film. So cool.

Also I just read that Elanor Gamgee was played by Alexandra, Sean Astin's daughter. That's just beyond cute.

I'm not sure what I should talk about, so many things I want to touch on and I so need to see the film again. Yet I think it will be good to wait (a week at least). Perhaps read a bit in the books and all.

Yeah, I know what to talk about. Why I totally understand why The Scouring of the Shire was cut.

In a book, you can do all kind of weird things with climaxes and pacing and all that. In a film, you don't have such a free reign, at least not in a epic film like RotK where there's a three film build-up to a certain climax (Destroying of the Ring). You'll just freak out the audience by adding another suspence scene and the aftermath won't be as clean. I actually liked it when the hobbits returned to the Shire and sat in the Green Dragon and everyone around them acted like nothing had happened. I'm weird, I know it. Only thing I was somewhat displeased with in the film, was Elrond's weird speech about Arwen being connected to the Ring. I sort of have a vauge idea what that was supposed to be about but damn, did it fail.

And yeah, RotK parody here. Guarantied to jack you up :D
