To the Sea, to the Sea! The white gulls are crying

I just watched "The Making of Return of the King"- thingie. Not sure how to make until Thursday. Well, I do have work tomorrow and an exam on Wednesday but so many of you will see it tomorrow. I will have to do my best to stay spoiler-free ... though I doubt I manage it.

One thing I started to wonder earlier. You all know how we identify and empathize (or not) with characters when we read books, watch movies etc. I was wondering if any of you identifies and/or empathizes (or has done so) with any of the Elven characters in LotR? Also with what characters do you identify/empathize the most?
